CHILD RIGHTS
Since 2002- 2003 Debasis Chaudhuri has been working in the field of child rights.
Debasis formulated a project on girl child rights of Children of sex- workers in Durgacharan Street in Sonagachi area for WB SC, ST and Minority Welfare Association.As heard from Late Dr Rajani kanta Doloi, the Founder Secretary of the Organisation the project was highly appreciated by the then Chairperson of West Bengal Social Welfare Advisory Board.
Debasis also formulated an innovative project on Child rights for a NGO in Keonjhar District in Odisha in 2005. This project was sanctioned by Educane,Netherland.
After need assessment Survey Debasis formulated a project on integration of Ragpickers in the slum area in Howrah Municipal Corporation area in the mainstream of society for West Bengal SC, ST and Minority Welfare Association.This projrct was submitted to kolkata Urban Services For The Poor with DFID, UK funding.
As Governing Body member of ARM,Baliapal Debasis was attached with Child parliament project,funded by ACA, Denmark and CHILDLINE project, funded by Childline Foundation, Mumbai.
