RECENT PROJECTS
1. Sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural programme in Purba Bardhaman district in West Bengal. The project is being implemented by Sistry (Social Infrastructure for Scheduled Tribe and Rural Youth) Foundation – Debasis was the consultant and developed the project in consultation with farmers, need assessment survey and long discussion with the board of Sistry Foundation having long experience in the field of promotion of Farmers Interest Group and Farmers Producers Company with support from NABARD.
2. Food security of 300 women in Purba Bardhaman district, implemented by Sistry Foundation with funding from Manos Unidas, Spain. The project is being implemented by Sistry (Social Infrastructure for Scheduled Tribe and Rural Youth) Foundation – Debasis plays the role of Project Manager in this project, although, he developed the project as per feedback on the farmers, farm women, evaluation of the earlier project and need assessment survey.
3. Sustainable Development of the Poverty-Stricken Marginal Farmers Through Rainwater Harvesting in 2 blocks of Sundarban of South 24 Parganas District, West Bengal, India, implemented by Lokamata Rani Rashmoni Mission with funding from Manos Unidas, Spain. Debasis Chaudhuri played the role of Consultant in the project.
